During the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, held on September 5, we follow an American sports broadcasting team as they quickly adjust from sports coverage to live coverage of Israeli athletes taken hostage. From this perspective, the film provides a fresh perspective on the live broadcast watched by an estimated one billion people worldwide at the time.
